Our Rendition of the Stars and Stripes Forever April 2018 at our Season Opener.
Our Rehersals start weekly Thursday at 7 p.m. from mid-January to December at the
Collinsville Congregational Church in Collinsville CT., except after concerts the prior week.
Many players arrive 30-60 minutes early to warm up and socialize.

7 South Street, Collinsville, CT 06019
Note: The town of Canton also includes Collinsville, North Canton, and Canton Center.
Continue straight where RTZ 4 turns left in Burlington. You are now on Rte. 179 north.
Proceed approximately 2 miles to a stop sign.
Turn right over the bridge, continuing on RT 179 North; the sign says Canton.
Take the second right onto Main Street, by the Crown and Hammer Pub and the sign for the Canton Town Hall. Main Street quickly swings left;
then, take the first right by the Canton Historical Museum onto Front Street
(Caution: cars parked on the right side of Front Street may obscure your view of oncoming traffic/ pedestrians).
Front Street also swings left. A large white church should now be visible on the right.
Take a right into the church parking lot.
From I-91:
Take the Bradley International Airport exit.
After leaving Airport as though going to Hartford, take the RT 20 exit to Granby.
Then follow RT 20 to RT 10.
Go south on RT 10 through Simsbury to RR 44 and take RT 44 West. Then, see below:
From RT 44 (if you are heading west from Hartford, Simsbury, etc.):
Proceed through Simsbury and Avon and into Canton, passing through the intersection with RT 177.
At the next stop light (at the Canton Town Green, with gazebo) on the left, take the angled left onto Dowd Avenue towards Collinsville.
Continue on Dowd Avenue, which becomes Maple Avenue. You will come to the river on your right.
When you see the cannon on your left, take a left onto River Street.
Continue straight, crossing Main Street, and follow the “X” of the Collinsville Town Green.
The church is directly ahead. Turn right onto South Street and turn left into the church parking lot.
{OR If you miss the turn onto Dowd Ave., continue on RT 44 west until you see a sign for RT 179 South; take a left and proceed down the hill to the stop light.
Take a left onto RT 179 south near the Saybrook Fishhouse. Use the following directions to get to the church:}
From Rte. 44 (if you are heading east from Poughkeepsie, Winsted, etc.):
At the stop light on RT 44, turn right onto RT 179 South towards Collinsville.
Saybrook Fishhouse will be nearby.
Continue on RT 179 until you reach a T-intersection/Stop sign with Dentfix on your left, and the river on your right.
Take the right, continuing on RT 179 south just a bit, until you see the cannon on your left.
Take a left onto River Street.
Continue straight, crossing Main Street, and follow the “X” of the Collinsville Town Green.
The church is directly ahead. Turn right onto South Street and turn left into the church parking lot.
From RT 202 (if you are heading east from the Torrington area):
Stay on 202 all the way into Canton. At the stop light just after the bridge, take a right turn onto Rte. 179 south towards Collinsville. Saybrook Fishhouse will be nearby.
Continue on Rte. 179 until you reach a T-intersection/Stop sign with Maple Avenue.
Dentfix will be on your left, and the river on your right.
Take a right, continuing on RT 179 south just a bit, until you see the cannon on your left.
Take a left onto River Street.
Continue straight, crossing Main Street, and follow the “X” of the Collinsville Town Green.
The church is directly ahead.
Turn right onto South Street and turn left into the church parking lot.
